Steve Davis, Interim Executive Director
C5 USI is thrilled to welcome Steve Davis as its new Executive Director. Starting his career as an auditor for Ernst & Young then as an accountant for PepsiCo Restaurants International, Steve spent most of his career in business and sales before starting Guru Importer with his brother.
Josh Dyson, Board President
C5 Urban School Initiative and its pilot school Hope Academy Wichita were founded by Josh Dyson and his wife Julie in 2024. Prior to starting C5 Josh Dyson served as the Headmaster at Classical School of Wichita (CSW), a classical Christian school in Wichita, KS. He served as Headmaster for almost seven years after serving for four years as the CSW Director of Operations. Prior to these almost eleven years in administration at CSW, Josh taught Bible and served as the school chaplain for Houston’s First Baptist Academy for four years.
Currently Josh is the Director of Member Engagement and an Accreditation Team Lead for the Society for Classical Learning.
Additionally, Josh serves on the Board of Academic Advisors for the Classic Learning Test and was an Arete Fellow for the Society for Classical Learning prior to joining SCL as an employee. He did his undergraduate work at Houston Christian University (HCU). He took graduate courses at HCU and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary prior to completing his Masters of Classical & Christian Studies from Knox Theological Seminary.
He and his wife Julie have been married since 2006, and have four children—Deacon, Noelle, Daisy, and Lucy.
He and his family are founding members of Incarnation Anglican Church in Wichita, KS, where they continue to worship and serve.
Pastor Jacob Molina, Board Member
Grant Bickell, Board Member
Grant is a dynamic leader with a decade of experience in classical Christian school administration and leadership, spanning from 2015 to 2025. In the spring of 2025, he transitioned his skills to the for-profit sector, becoming a Mortgage Loan Originator in Wichita, Kansas.
Known for his ability to inspire, Grant leverages his innovative and galvanizing approach to empower other people to reach their full potential. Conversations with Grant are often filled with new ideas and a renewed sense of purpose.
Grant and his wife, Joy, have been married since 2010 and are the proud parents of six children. They are active members at Heartland Community Church, where they serve in children's ministry.
Fr. Kyle Fleet, Board Member
Fr. Kyle Fleet holds a M.A. in Transformational Leadership from Bethel Seminary and B.A. in Christian Ministry from Tabor College. He has been in church ministry for fifteen years. He was ordained at Central Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas where he primarily served as Youth Pastor and Team Leader. He now serves as a Priest in the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA), serving locally as the Rector at Incarnation Anglican Church. He also teaches in the religion and philosophy department at Friends University. He and his wife Kelsey have been married for seventeen years. They have three children—Sawyer, Sully, and Sunny.
Dr. Ken Stoltzfus, Advisory Board Member
Dr. Ken Stoltzfus holds a PhD in Social Welfare from Case Western Reserve University, as well as a Master of Social Work degree from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Friends University. Ken previously served as a faculty member and department chair at Malone University (Canton, OH), LCC International University (Klaipeda, Lithuania) and Samford University (Birmingham, AL). Ken received a 2010 Fulbright Senior Scholar award, which allowed him to teach and conduct research in the Russian Federation. Prior to his academic career, Ken served as a clinician and administrator in mental health and substance abuse treatment programs. He and his wife Amy have two adult children—Dylan and Katie.
